CZM EM400H Pile Driving Rigs on hire in Sicily, Italy

AGD Equipment recently supplied three units CZM EM400H compact hydraulic pile driving rigs for a rental contract on the Italian island of Sicily.

The piling rigs were driving 4.5 m long steel tubular piles to form the foundations for a solar energy farm. The CZM EM400H was chosen for it's compact nature as the site was quite remote, and the transport dimensions were important as the access roads were narrow.

Weighing just 22 tons and with a transport width of 2.7 m the Italian piling contractor was very happy with the performance of the 2 tons Fambo HR2000 hydraulic hammer mounted on the CZM EM400H piling rig and regularly installed up to 100 piles per day.
