We have many years’ expertise in repairing and refurbishing our own and third party equipment and we are keen to further develop this section of our business. Please download our brochure which gives an overview of the work we are able to carry out on a wide variation of equipment.

As a plant operator we are fully aware of the need to return damaged equipment to service in an efficient and cost effective manner so as to reduce loss of revenue to the absolute minimum. We can offer a full service including recovery, transport, repair, fabrication, refinishing, and recommissioning using skilled and well qualified personnel.

Our facilities have been specially built to accommodate our range of services and include fabrication and mechanical workshops, both with two overhead cranes, a preparation shop adjoining a modern paint booth which can accommodate the largest items of plant and vehicles that is able to finish equipment in either 2 pack or single pack coatings.

We have developed considerable expertise over many years and now have a very skilled and innovative workforce who are able to carry out:- 

• Design services  - Heavy and light metal fabrication  -  Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs and rebuilds - Preparation and refinishing
• Modification and adaptation of all types of construction equipment and cranes
• Fitting of attachments such as piling hammers and leaders to excavators
• Equipment examination and testing -  we have our own test weights and employ a competent person and crane rated capacity indicator engineers

We take a great deal of pride in the work carried out and we strive to meet the deadlines, as we are fully aware that time usually equates to money.

AGD Equipment have a state of the art, purpose built painting facility designed to handle all types of heavy construction equipment, piling equipment and cranes.

The paintshop incorporates a drying oven that can produce fully-hardened 2 pack paint in under an hour, and the modern filtration system ensures maximum efficiency with minimal pollution. We can also produce single pack finishes if required.
