Crawler Crane Hire

AGD Rental were the first crawler crane hire company in the UK to have an all hydraulic fleet and have been offering fully hydraulic crawler cranes for rental for 35 years.

Over time our range has grown and we are now established with a fleet of around 65 crawler cranes. We have invested heavily recently in the latest state of the art Sennebogen hydraulic lattice boom crawler cranes. All of these cranes feature hydraulic high rise and tilting cabs for increased operator vision, and virtual wall systems for safe working alongside roads and railways and inside buildings.

Our capacities in traditonal lattice boom crawler cranes range from 50 tons to 100 tons comprising 4 heavy duty models with high line pull specifically designed for piling, grabbing, dynamic compaction and tunnelling applications in the 50, 80 and 100 tons capacity class.

All of our crawler cranes are available for hire with experienced CPCS qualified operators or you may hire your crawler crane on a self drive basis as required. In addition to operators we also supply crane supervisors and/or slinger signallers when requested. Operator familiarisation is offered if requested.

Our centrally located facility in the heart of the Midlands and close to HS2 sites allows us to offer competitive mobilisation costs for crawler crane hire throughout the UK and we are also happy to receive enquiries to supply crawler cranes on hire anywhere in Europe.

A crawler crane is a heavy-duty lifting machine mounted on tracks, designed to operate on uneven or soft ground. They are commonly used on infrastructure, piling, ground engineering and civil engineering projects where stability, lifting capacity and reliability are critical.
What lifting capacities are available for crawler crane hire?
Our fleet includes heavy-duty lattice boom crawler cranes with capacities ranging from 50 to 100 tonnes. We offer multiple models within this range, allowing us to match the right machine to your specific lifting requirements and site conditions.
What types of projects are crawler cranes suitable for?
Crawler cranes are widely used for piling works, dynamic compaction, grab work, tunnelling and general heavy lifting. Their high line pull and stability make them particularly effective on foundation and ground engineering projects.
Do you supply operators with your crawler cranes?
