5th Giken silent piler sold to Ivor King Piling

We've recently delivered the 5th new Giken silent piler to King Piling of Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Having bought their first Giken ECO700S in 2012 their fleet has now expanded to include 3 units of the latest model F301 silent piler and 2 units of the ECO700S models, 3 of which are equipped with super crush equipment. Making them the only owner of super crush pilers in the UK and the largest owner of super crush pilers in Europe.

These versatile machines can install U profile sheet piles from 600-750 mm wide and Z profile sheet piles from 508-700 mm wide in all types of soil conditions. Pictured here is one of their ECO700S super crush pilers installing 12 m long PU32 sheet piles through rock with a strength of up to 90mpa near Abergavenny in south Wales for Costain Civil Engineering. Two of these units were deployed for a period of 6 months to install a sheet piled wall in the most onerous ground conditions you could expect to find with complete success.
