SMS have been a dominant manufacturer in the vibro sector since 1970. Their heritage includes being a manufacturer of gears which lead them to become involved in the vibratory hammer market. Their first vibros were made in 2004 and their side grip range was launched in 2012.

The product is simple, robust and utilises proprietary brand components such as Parker motors, SKF bearings and Rexroth valves. The remaining parts are manufactured in their own factory. One of the key features of these vibros is that the bearings are oil fed, resulting in longer life and the machine being able to work hard without overheating.
