IHI CCH1200 crawler crane with tower boom and luffing jib dismantles Midlands tower block

Nationwide demolition specialist Coleman & Co from Birmingham recently hired a 120 tons IHI CCH1200 crawler crane with tower boom and luffing jib attachment to dismantle a city centre tower block in Wolverhampton, West Midlands.

Pictured here with the maximum tower and jib configuration of 51.25 m tower and 44 m luffing jib the impressive set-up was utilised to handle concrete panels 4-6 tons in weight at up to 32 m radius.

The incredible accuracy of the IHI crawler crane along with the skill of our experienced operator helped the project to be a success. The crane was on hire for approximately 12 weeks.
