Another leader rig "squeezed" through a narrow gap for DWM Plant

Another RTG RG16T telescopic leader rig was squeezed into a tight site in Marton, Cheshire this week for sheet piling contractor DWM Plant. The narrow transport width of just 3.0 m was all we had to work with as you can see from the photograph. Once access had been achieved the machine installed 54 number 10 m long L605 sheet piles in just 2 days, with a 105 tons resonance free variable moment vibrator.

The piles are being used as permanent works for a residential basement.  DWM are the specialist sheet piling sub contractor on the job. Click on the link to learn more about their sheet pile solutions.
