RTG RG21T driving tubular piles at 1:3 backward rake

An interesting and unusual job this month in Avonmouth for Ravestein BV installing 775 mm diameter tubular piles at a 1:3 backward rake in 12 m sections to 32 m with one of our RTG RG21T telescopic leader rigs. Some 575 mm diameter tubes were also driven vertically.

The rigs first installs the piles using its powerful MR150AVM vibro and then drives them further with one of our Fambo HR5000 5 tons hydraulic impact hammers.

Rig supplied along with fully experienced and directly employed operator and piling hand.
