RTG RG21T deep soil mixing for house foundations

RTG RG21T telescopic leader rig installing 1.2 m dia soil mixed columns up to 19 m deep in Dundee for deep soil mixing specialists Ground Developments of Livingston.

The columns are providing foundations for roads and houses on a development for Persimmon Homes. This is the first time deep soil mixing has been used in the UK for house foundations and we are very proud to be part of it.

The machine was supplied on hire along with a MAT mixing plant which provided the grout for both the deep soil mixing rig and a mass mixing rig which was working alongside it.
