Jon joins us as Sales Representative and is currently learning the trade from his experienced mentors Robert Law and Bob Rosindale. Hopefully soon you'll get the chance to talk to or meet Jon as he speaks to customers, both old and new.

Pictured here is our recent fleet addition a new Marchetti CW25.35L 25 tons telescopic crawler crane on hire to Bowmer & Kirkland  at Centre Parcs in Woburn Forest, Bedfordshire.

The machine has an incredibly small footprint yet still boasts a 25 m long telescopic boom, which as you can see is proving very useful inside the new leisure centre area of the woodland retreat. It is on concreting and shuttering duties for the next few months. This is its second job and such is the demand, we have already ordered another for delivery at the end of October!

We recently supplied 2 crawler cranes on hire to BAM Nuttall at Kings Cross, London to assist with the assembly of a Victorian gas holder frame, which had been restored for posterity as part of the refurbishment of the area around the Regents Canal.

Keller Geotechnique  have been hiring an RTG RG16T telescopic leader rig with twin rotary head from us installing 7 m deep 406 mm dia hard / firm secant piles in Mayfair. The machine was chosen for its ability to work within close proximity of an adjacent wall. In this case just 100 mm!

Pictured here is an RTG RG19T telescopic leader rig installing 750 mm dia CFA piles to 15 m in Lewisham, London for Aspin Foundations.

The RTG is most famous for installing sheet piles with a vibrator however it is an extremely versatile rig and with a quick change of equipment can be used to drill CFA piles, secant piles or carry out soil mixing with either twin paddle or triple paddle systems.

These piles are being constructed for a contiguous piled retaining wall, though made ground, gravels and stiff London clay.

Following the launch at Bauma, we have ordered a new Marchetti CW25.35 25 tons capacity compact telescopic crawler crane for our rental fleet. This new model fits nicely between the top end of our mini crane range and the larger 30 tons capacity telescopic crawler cranes already well established in our fleet.

The physical size is very compact, with a track width of just 2.5 m for transport and light weight of 25 tons together with a length of only 7 m with the boom retracted making it ideal for congested inner city sites.

Once again AGD get DWM Group out of a tight spot, this time at the Eye Hospital in Manchester. The project required a king post wall installing in the street outside this listed building with a hoarding just a few feet away. Traditionally DWM would use a leader rig for this type of work however the tight working space dictated the use of a smaller machine instead.

We were able to squeeze one of our 2.7 m wide CZM EM400 compact CFA piling rigs in to the space to drill 600 mm dia holes to 8 m, and then one of our Maeda LC755 5 tons mini cranes came along to lift in the H piles. The job was completed on time and to everyone's satisfaction.
