Another refuse vehicle refurbished and repainted for RVS
Pictured here is another refuse vehicle refurbished and repainted for long term customer Refuse Vehicle Solutions
On average we refurbish 2 commercial vehicles per month for RVS who are suppliers of good quality second hand vehicles to the local authority and utilities markets.
A typical refurbishment includes some welding and fabrication work and a full repaint which we can undertake for any type of commercial vehicle or construction equipment.
Our paint facility can handle machines up to 20 m long and 6 m wide, so the bigger the better!
Fambo HR2000 hydraulic impact hammer back driving sheet piles into mudstone
One of our compact CZM EM400H pile driving rigs fitted with a Fambo HR2000 2 tons hydraulic impact hammer has just successfully completed a trial back driving sheet piles previously pitched with a Movax vibratory hammer into mudstone. The 9 m sheet pile was driven just 2 m into the ground by the vibrator and the Fambo was able to easily impact the pile another 3 m before reaching refusal of 10 blows to the inch (even then it was still moving).
This unit is leader mounted on a CZM piling rig which can also be used to drive steel tubular piles, precast piles and wooden piles, however the Fambo range are also available with telescopic leaders suitable for mounting on the dipper arm of a hydraulic excavator, therefore making it an ideal partner for a Movax or excavator mounted vibrator.
Fambo and CZM rigs are available for sale or rental from AGD with experienced operators.

Giken ECO700S silent piler in a tight spot in Bayonne, France
We recently completed a successful rental project in Bayonne, France where a Giken ECO700S silent piler was required to work within very close proximity of the existing walls of a school. The U profile sheet piles ranged from 10-14 m long and were being installed as part of a flood alleviation scheme. As you can see from the photo below there wasn't much room for error but our operator managed very well.
The machine was rented through our French dealer Pajot SA
King Piling choose Giken for silent piling
Following their experience of renting a Giken ECO700S Super Crush Piler from us at their project at Vaizey's Wharf in London, King Piling have invested in a brand new Giken ECO700 silent piler suitable for installing Z profile sheet piles up to 700 mm wide and U profile sheet piles up to 750 mm wide.
The machine was also supplied with a Giken JR22 super jet reel and Giken PJ3 crawler mounted water jet pump which is powered by the power pack of the silent piler, saving fuel and operator costs.
Pictured here on its first job in Lincolnshire pressing 14 m long Z profile piles 700 mm wide for a flood alleviation scheme, the machine performed very well and the job was completed to the clients satisfaction.

Restricted Access Sheet Piling in Middlewich, Cheshire
One of our RTG RG16T telescopic leader rigs has just finished installing 100 linear metres of sheet piling on a site for a new Morrison Store in Middlewich, Cheshire for sheet piling specialists DWM.
