AGD Equipment regularly hire heavy duty crawler cranes to piling contractors for mounting bored piling rigs on. Pictured here is one of our 70 tons capacity heavy duty IHI DCH700 hydraulic crawler cranes fitted with a Soilmec RT3/S on hire to Carillion Piling at a project in Birmingham.

The 17 tons free fall winches with heavy duty friction clutches and brakes fitted to the IHI DCH700 crawler crane make it an ideal machine for handling crane mounted large diameter bored piling rigs.

For longer kelly bar applications we also run a fleet of larger capacity IHI DCH800 crawler cranes which have 21 tons free fall winches. These machines are suitable for drilling depths up to 60 m.

Machines can be supplied with or without operators, giving the piling contractor total flexibility.
